AI invoice generator with Smart Fill
The “AI” part here is deliberately modest, and we will describe it honestly: type one line such as “Logo design for Acme, $850, due March 14” and Smart Fill pre-fills the client, the first line item, the amount and the due date using simple pattern matching in your browser. It is a quick-fill, not magic — you check every field before you print, and you can ignore Smart Fill entirely and type the form yourself.
Invoice details
Line items
| Description | Qty | Rate | Amount |
|---|
| Subtotal | $0.00 |
| Discount | −$0.00 |
| Tax | $0.00 |
| Total due | $0.00 |
Printing uses your browser’s print dialog — choose “Save as PDF” there if you want a file. Only the invoice above prints, not the whole page.
From finished work to sent invoice in four steps
- Try Smart Fill, or skip it. One line with the work, the client, an amount and a due date fills the obvious fields. Anything it cannot find, it leaves blank rather than guessing.
- Check the parties and dates. Your business name and the client name are saved on this device for next time. The invoice number increments automatically; change it if you keep your own sequence.
- Add each line item separately. Quantity times rate is calculated for you. Add tax or a discount only if they genuinely apply — both are shown as separate lines in the preview.
- Print or save as PDF, then send it yourself. The tool does not email invoices for you, because it never receives your data. Attach the PDF to your normal email so the thread stays in your own inbox.
A clear invoice gets paid faster than a clever one: a unique number, an issue date, an unambiguous due date, itemised work and a total that matches the lines. If a client’s accounts team needs a purchase-order number or a tax ID on the document, put it in the notes field.
